The Legacy
Rise From
the Ashes
Black Bottom was Detroit's oldest African-American neighborhood, named by early settlers for the dark, fertile river-bottom soil. A hub of Black-owned business and a nationally known music scene, it raised champions before it was razed by eminent domain.
Named after the neighborhood that bred Joe Louis and Sugar Ray Robinson. Upholding legacy is in the soul of our team.
We carry that name forward. Black Bottom is a label built on that legacy: discipline, community, and the will to rise, worn with pride, everywhere you go.
